Addiction

Addiction can manifest in many ways in someone’s life. The most common form of addiction that we see is addiction to drugs or alcohol. That being said, we treat all different types of addictions including addiction to prescription drugs, Marijuana, vaping, porn, sex addiction, self harm, heroin, methamphetamine, fentanyl, inhalants and other addictions. Anything that one qualifies as an addiction, we are willing to treat.

A common misconception is that a person chooses to have an addiction and chooses to put their addiction over other things in their life like friends, family, school, work, ect. This is simply not the case. The Mayo Clinic has acknowledged that addiction is a diagnosable and treatable disease. It’s not a choice. This is why people trying to stop their addiction by themselves more often than not leads to failure.

Cascade Recovery is able to treat addiction by providing the three most necessary things for a young person to get sober; Connection to other young people in recovery, basic morals to guide outlook and decision-making, and more joy for a young person in sobriety then they had during their additive addiction. We provide these things to clients by plugging them into a network of other young people in recovery, taking clients to do fun activities, and using a variety of therapeutic techniques with clients. We have found that a multifaceted approach such as the one we use is the most successful way to help people get sober.

Mental Health

As a recovery coaching company, we understand that mental health disorders often require a holistic approach that goes beyond just traditional medical treatments. While we are not doctors or therapists or psychiatrists, we strive to support individuals with mental health disorders by providing them with non-medical guidance and tools for self care and recovery. The approach we take is deeply rooted in empathy, compassion, and empowerment, recognizing that each individual has a different journey and requires personalized attention.

First and foremost, we prioritize active listening and creating a safe space for clients to share their experiences and emotions without being judged. We offer emotional support and encouragement, and help clients develop healthy coping skills and self care strategies that align with their specific needs and goals. We may also provide psychoeducation, helping clients understand their mental health condition and providing information about available resources and treatment options. Our focus is on empowering clients to take ownership of their mental health and develop resilience when being faced with challenges.
